Does the machine come assembled?
The machine comes fully assembled.
Occasionally the delivering carrier will need to disassemble the machine (e.g. remove side arms or rear arms, etc.) for ease of delivery, but they will reassemble it as well.
How much will shipping and delivery cost?
It depends on what kind of delivery you have.
A ground floor or a simple garage delivery will cost less than a machine that needs to be carried up or down a flight of stairs.
Occasionally deliveries also require disassembly (e.g. removal of the side arms or rear arms) to fit through tight turns, etc.
Before shipping the machine, we can request a quote based on your specifications.
Most deliveries vary between $600 and $1000.
If your machine is shipped outside of Southern California is comes packed in a custom wooden crate and there is an additional crating fee of $185.
How long does shipping and delivery take?
Shipping and delivery time usually only takes less than 10 business days.
However, in some rare cases it does take longer.
When will the machine be delivered?
The delivering carrier will contact you once they have received the machine.
They will organize a specific date and timeframe with you ahead of delivery, i.e. they will not come unannounced to deliver the machine.
Can I request a specific delivery date and time?
Although we can not guarantee a delivery timeframe, we can try to organize it to be as convenient as possible for you.
The local delivery company can work with you to arrange a specific date and timeframe, however this sometimes means an extra charge.
If you do ask for a specific delivery day or time, please verify with the delivering carrier if there will be additional charges ahead of time.
How will the QuickGym / ROM machine be delivered and installed?
Our QuickGym / ROM machine comes completely assembled in a large crate, ready to use.
In the 48 contiguous States, in most cases, the delivering trucking company will uncrate the machine and place it exactly where people want it placed (even basements, lofts, yachts, up winding stairways).
In case there are narrow doorways, narrow hallways, sharp turns, narrow stairways, winding stairways and other obstacles, the delivering carrier will take parts off the QuickGym / ROM machine to make it smaller and lighter to handle.
They will replace those parts after the QuickGym / ROM machine is at the final location. In case people later move, the QuickGym / ROM machine can generally be moved by normal moving companies or specialized moving companies such as those that move pianos and other difficult items.
Are there ever any problems with delivery?
The above described delivery/installation process goes very smoothly 85% of the time.
The freight company contracts with local moving companies that specialize in difficult deliveries/installations.
It takes "kissing a lot of toads" to find a "prince" among the many local moving companies.
The trucking companies that transport the QuickGym / ROM machine have usually found their "princes" in or near metropolitan areas but in rural areas that are remote from metro areas they have not always found the right people.
This results in some frustration with about 15% of the deliveries to the point where we would like to jump through the telephone line to show the lesser competent moving people how to do it.
In the end however, after a bit of frustration, prodding and guiding the people along, everything works out fine.
When we ship out your machine, we send you an email notification and attached to that email, are the same delivery instructions and documents that the delivery company has, so that you may get an idea of what is necessary for the delivery.
In some rare cases the people installing the QuickGym / ROM machine do not properly re-install the parts they might have removed.
In those cases both customers and we here at Romfab experience a bit of additional frustration.
In those situations we need extra understanding and cooperation of the customer to resolve the problem.
From past experience over 95% of the time when such rare delivery deficiencies happen, the customer together with our guidance, over the phone or per email, will be able to correct the problem.
In a few rare cases we had to suffer quite uncooperative and unreasonable customers.
If you feel that you belong to the potentially less reasonable variety of customer we would like to ask you to restrain your natural tendencies or not aspire to the purchase of a QuickGym / ROM machine.
What about deliveries outside the continental US, including Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and other destinations?
In some areas of Canada, Alaska and Hawaii we have been able to arrange for installation as well.
In all other areas the customer must arrange for manpower themselves to remove the fully assembled QuickGym / ROM machine from its shipping crate and for installation.
Can I arrange my own shipping and delivery?
According to the terms of sale/rental you can choose and arrange for the shipping and delivery company of your choice.
On this page you can find the machine´s and the crate´s specifications.
If you are going to take advantage of our 30-day trial offer, you must have the machine installed into a location by the delivery company.
If you would like to have the crated machine line-hauled to an address, you can only do so on the full-purchase 45-day money-back guarantee option.
I don´t want to keep the QuickGym / ROM machine crate, will the shipping company remove the crate? Do I need to keep the crate during the trial period?
If you are receiving the machine outside of Southern California, the machine will come in a $185 custom wooden crate.
The crating protects the machine during shipment and also reduces shipping costs, as the crate can be fork-lifted.
The crate is yours to keep, should you like to keep it.
If you keep the QuickGym / ROM machine, the cost of crating will be charged to you regardless of whether or not you keep the crate.
If you are receiving the machine within the 48 contiguous US states, the local carrier installing the machine will remove and dispose of the crate at no charge.
You do not need to keep the crate at your location for the trial period.
The local carrier will hold the crate for the trial period.
If you decide to keep the crate during the trial period, and then would like to dispose of the crate afterwards, the local carrier will not be able to pick-up the crate free of charge.
It will cost almost the same as the installation part of the shipping charges to remove the crate at another time, and that would be added to your final balance.
So please don't keep the crate unless you are able to arrange your own disposal or storage.
If the machine is line-hauled to your location, this doesn't apply, as the crated machine will just be dropped off.
If the machine is line hauled, please keep the crate for at least the duration of the trial period, in case you decide to return the machine.
With some Alaskan, Canadian and Hawaiian deliveries, the local carrier will also be able to remove the crate free of charge.
Once again, please don't keep the crate unless you are able to arrange your own storage or disposal.
If you decide to keep the machine, the carrier will not return to pick-up the crate free of charge.
For all other deliveries, the disposal or storage of the crate is the customer's responsibility.
Can I pick up the machine from ROMFab´s North Hollywood, CA warehouse?
You may pick up the machine from our North Hollywood, CA warehouse, however, this isn't always as advantageous as it might seem.
Firstly, the machine must be purchased in full with the 45-day money-back guarantee: for obvious reasons, we don't allow machines to go out on 30-day trials with customer pick-up.
Secondly, we must then charge Los Angeles county sales tax, which can work out to be more costly than the savings in delivery costs to your out-of-state location.
What are the physical dimensions of the machine?

Does the QuickGym / ROM machine come with any accessories?
The machine comes with: an instructional booklet and DVD, and an exercise mat for the machine to be placed upon.
This mat prevents the machine from sliding on the floor surface, dampens noise from the machine, and protects the floor surface from wear and tear (especially under the rear pedals).
